The 1972 QS, Nike’s newest release pays homage to the ‘Moon Shoe,’ the first shoe Nike ever released. Named after the year that shoe was released and the first year Nike did business, the premium leather upper takes inspiration from the swoosh’s celebrated history in performance footwear. Lined with leather, the 1972 has a stitched tonal leather swoosh, waxed rolled laces, an embossed leather tongue tab, and has a goodyear welt and waffle sole. For the avid sneaker collector the 1972 it’s definitely worth the purchase. We can’t say that we love this sneaker, but it’s definitely unique. Available via Endclothing.co.uk. Retail $183 (£119.00)
