Today is World AIDS Day and if you have not heard, many celebrities have opted to die today to raise awareness of this disease. Wait! Before you go into a frenzy let me clarify that statement. Starting today, many celebrities are going to be “digitally dead.”

What that means is celebrity WOMENkind including Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Hudson, Khloe Kardashian, Janelle Monae, Kimberly Cole, Daphne Guinness are taking a moment of silence and putting an end to their digital lives by signing off from all social networking platforms in an effort to raise money for those in Africa and India affected by HIV/AIDS.

Participating celebrities have decided to go off-line until they raise $1 million for Keep a Child Alive (KCA), which was co-founded by Alicia Keys and Leigh Blake. The advertising campaign is a bit creepy, but genius nevertheless.

Mankind Unplugged took part in a social media-driven adventure through L.A. stopping at local spots while test-driving the Nissan JUKE. Fun, bold and exciting, the “Ride Experience” was a unique voyage like no other. This video follows Heather’s fun filled Facebook and Twiiter scavenger hunt in the new 2011 Nissan JUKE.

Our first ever Who’s That Girl is the vivacious Candace Rae. Candace whose looks are a reflection of her French and Italian descent was born in Winnipeg, Canada and has lived in Toronoto, Bermuda, Malaysia, and Australia. Discovered by the website Savvy.com her modeling career launched after Savvy flew her to do a photo shoot for the site. Since then, Candace has been featured on AskMen.com as the model of the day, Playboy.com as Playboy’s Belle du Jour and on Maxim.com as Maxim’s hometown hottie. She now works as a full time model and is the COO and face of MissOnline.com. She was also named the spokes person for Lady Pink Energy Drink.

Not long ago, when asked to pose nude by Playboy, Candace said, “I respect women who do it, and see nothing wrong with it. But for me it is not an option at this time in my life. Since her statement, it looks like Candace may have reconsidered. what we do know is she is definitely working with Playboy… we will make sure to post ALLLL the details.
