The Kobe VII System Supreme (Kobe 7) was released a few days ago just in time for Christmas and right before NBA opening day. Along with the debut of Kobe’s new shoe, Nike Basketball released a video of Kobe with Nike creative director Eric Avar discussing the design of the shoe, balancing science and art, performance versatility in footwear, the “Attack Fast” & “Attack Strong” insole, the creative process, and the evolution of Kobe’s signature line. Although the initial launch of the Kobe VII included the Black/White-Del Sol-Stealth colorway, starting on December 25th the Christmas colorway will be available. Retail $180

New Balance dropped a new Valentine colorway today and although we like the red suede, we aren’t quite certain how this will translate on a guys feet. The New Balance 996 “Valentines Day” sneaker features an all red suede upper with hints of turquoise and a jeweled red heart. Not very MANly in our opinion; however, we are curious to know would you wear these sneakers?

Available in unisex sizing (WOMEN can cop a pair as well), the king of kicks: the iconic 1400 sneaker, originally launched in 1994 are now available in never-before-seen custom colors. The new colorways designed by J.Crew were crafted in the USA from premium American-made suede at New Balance’s Skowhegan, Maine, factory after years of being available only in Japan.

Not sure if NiceKicks.com founder and publisher, Matt Halfhill got this list right (#9 is definitely one of the best Air Jordans created), but we will let you be the judge.
