UFC 126 lived up to the hype. The main event saw Middleweight champion Anderson Silva retain his crown as he drop kicked Vitor Belfort with a brutal kick to the face. Rich Franklin beat former light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin. Jon Jones embarrassed “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner Ryan Bader. Norifumi ‘Kid’ Yamamoto took a beat down from Demetrious Johnson. Both Miguel Torres and Donald Cerrone were winners in their UFC promotional debuts. With Miguel Torres taking the W, we saw the much hyped training partner of Chuck Liddell, Antonio Banuelos take an L. All in all, there was some serious action taking place in the Octagon for UFC 126.
