We were fortunate to join the journey of not one but two eager racing newcomers as they hit the road and track (pun intended) to check out their first race in none other than Las Vegas. And no, that old cliche “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” won’t apply to this story.

These first-time attendees dived into the fanatical world of NASCAR at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where they’d come to witness NASCAR Cup Series’ 400-mile-long Pennzoil 400, presented by Jiffy Lube. Admittedly, we may be a bit biased – after all, it was love at first sight when we attended our first race well over a decade ago – but we think everyone should feel the thrill of a NASCAR race at least once in their lifetime.
