Car enthusiasts know that Air | Water is anything but an ordinary car show. This reunion-style event in Costa Mesa brings together Porsche enthusiasts who appreciate everything from air-cooled classics to the latest water-cooled models. Held at the OC Fairgrounds, the event attracts a diverse crowd eager to see what arrives, rain or shine. Our photographer for the day, Jordan Taylor (@octane.jpg on Instagram), captured the wide range of vehicles using Fujifilm’s GFX100 II and X100V cameras, highlighting everything from rare vintage models to the latest high-performance Porsches.
Among the standout cars were Bisimoto’s 935 “Moby Dick,” a crowd favorite known for its iconic design, and the futuristic-looking RUF CTR3. The event also featured a dirt track area with off-road Porsches covered in mud and dust, adding a rugged contrast to the polished show cars. Creativity was on display with Porsche Pelle’s 930 G-Body sporting a Simpsons-themed “Donuts & Drip” wrap. Ultimately, Air | Water isn’t about who has the rarest Porsche or the wildest build; it’s about showing up and sharing the day with people who truly get it.
