Communication is probably the number one reason why relationships go south of the border. Many men think playing “hard-to-get” will attract women. Most modern day women are savvy and understand that you have to know when to reverse the roles. Unfortunately, this leads to a cat and mouse game. There is a very fine line between playing hard to get and just fessing up to not being interested.
Girls are wired a bit different than men and for the most part they tend to take on the responsibility of doing most of the calling. If a guy does too much calling he may lose steam once the chase has ended. With the social roles of men and women being somewhat reversed, who knows why she is not calling. However, I can offer you 7 logically reasons.
1. You Didn’t Call Her / You Said You Would Call
This may sound too simple, but there is a possibility she is not calling because you aren’t calling her. Most smart women take their cues from men. Women have learned the all familiar pattern of men which usually necessitates that a man will stop calling when he is no longer interested. Therefore, she may not call because she is waiting on you to show that you are interested in her.
2. She’s Just Not Into You
Have you ever heard of the book and movie titled “He’s Just Not That Into You?” There comes a point in every man’s life where he has to put his ego aside and realize she just may not be into you either.
3. She is REALLY Busy
Women have busy lives. Between shopping, going to the nail salon, and chit chatting on the phone aka gossiping with their girlfriends, she may not have time to call you. If you do decide to call and she says “I will call you back because I’m washing my hair,” it’s safe to say she is REALLY too busy for you.
4. She Doesn’t Want to Seem Desperate
Guys must face the fact that women know how to play hard to get, too. More importantly, men like the chase and smart women understand this. Men want what they can’t have and women who play the field understand there is a fine line between being available and coming across as too anxious.
5. She is Not Ready For a Relationship
Women fear commitment just like men. Maybe her last relationship was a bust and she is not ready to get into another relationship. She may also look at you as the guy that is cool to hang out with when she is bored, but not as a guy she wants to have a serious relationship with.
6. She Met Someone Else
Some women know how to play the field like a man. These women generally balance a couple of men at one time. For the woman that doesn’t understand how to “date” two guys at one time she may forget to call the other guy (you). There is also the possibility she wants to concentrate on developing her relationship with a new guy.
7. Why Would She Call?
Have you given her a reason to call you?
Regardless of the reason please know that none of them have anything to do with you. Ever reason mentioned is all about her. She will call when she wants and you simply can’t do anything about it. The truth is if she likes you she will call you, eventually. Whatever the reason she is not calling, you should know the girl of your dreams is out there somewhere. Don’t despair; she will find you.
