The humble beginning of airport security was merely the installation of security personnel that prevented airplane hijackings. Currently, as a front line in the battle against terrorism, airport security is now the world’s creepiest voyeur. Activists have spoken out and are designating Nov 24 as a National Opt-Out Day. As someone traveling on that day, I can let you know that I have anxiety about the thought of someone touching me and I already know that I refuse to go thru a body scanner (fear of being exposed to radiation).
