After writing “She Asked For A Threesome, He Choked Her”, I started to think about the obsession and fantasy many people have about experiencing a ménage à trios aka a threesome. Almost every man has fantasized about having a threesome and based on my research it seems like many women have thought about the possibility of having group sex at least once.

Better Sex Life If you are in a relationship, many believe that your chances of remaining in a committed relationship drastically improve because having a threesome allows for variety and some familiarity. If you are single having a threesome gives you a chance to “play” and experience new things in turn increasing your creativity in the bed room.

Emotional Repercussions Intimate experiences cause emotional connections to form. At all times you should remember that you are having a new experience not a relationship with one or both of the people involved. Unfortunately, many times it is hard to separate the two and one partner may become emotionally attached when in fact it is just a fling. Before engaging in a threesome, it is vital to evaluate whether or not you are ready and can handle a range of emotions including guilt, jealousy, and increased desires.
STD’s This one is a no brainer, but for those who need it spelled out P-R-O-T-E-C-T-I-O-N! The risks of contracting an STD is already present with one person, but engaging in activity with two doubles your possibility of catching some type of disease. Think of Condoms as the 4th participant!
Destroying Your Relationship If you and your partner or not mature enough to handle the many pitfalls associated with a threesome, problems can occur including but not limited to the demise of your relationship or friendship.
Rules
There is no “I” in Threesome A threesome involves “3” people. Even if two of the three people involved are in a relationship, it is important to realize that there are three people in the bed that need satisfying. Giving equal attention is crucial. Do not be selfish!
Set Boundaries If one participant is someone that you are in a committed relationship with, it is important to establish what is and is not acceptable including the scenario (two girls, two guys, etc), kissing, oral sex, or even penetration.
