Lady GaGa is covering the September issue of Vanity Fair naked and with long grey hair. As you can imagine her interview made for some interesting quotes. The singer came clean about her drug use, sex life, and revealed what she really thinks about her fans.
EXCERPTS:
On sex: “I do f*%k, but I’m not promiscuous. I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.”
On her drug use: “I won’t lie; it’s occasional. And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year. But if you print that, I do not want my fans to emulate that. I don’t want them to think they have to be that way to be great.”
On her fans: “My fans don’t relate to it because it represents something they don’t have… My fans are more iconic that this purse. I love fashion, but I don’t love it more than my fans. That’s what this bag is all about.”
“Of course I got drunk at Yankee Stadium… My real fans know who I truly am, and they know what I represent and what I mean, and my music and my performance is what really speaks.”
On Romance: I’m perpetually lonely. I’m lonely when I’m in relationships. It’s my condition as an artist.”
“I’m drawn to bad romances. And my song (‘Bad Romance’) is about whether I go after those [sort of relationships] or if they find me. I’m quite celibate now; I don’t really get time to meet anyone.”
