Remember Lotto sneakers? If you were around in the 80’s or 90’s (we sure most of you weren’t) you may vaguely remember the Lotto sneaker. During those days it was consider more of a lifestyle shoe in the US. The brand which currently makes clothing and footwear for football, tennis, running and fitness hasn’t found much success in the US in recent years, but it looks like their fortune is about to change with the release of the new Lotto Leggenda Tokyo.
The Italian company who is a leader of sports apparel in over 100 countries worldwide appears to be reintroducing Americans to their truly Italian styles with the release of their latest sneaker. With the a vintage effect logo, the suede and nylon sneaker has Japanese writing on the heel which translates into “Tokyo Shibuya.” The “Leggenda Tokyo” is not your everyday sneaker and we doubt you will wear it on the soccer field, but it should be considered as a collection piece. Who knows, it may be another decade before we see anything else from the brand this memorable in the good ol USA. Retail $137
