3 Places in the US to Visit in the Fall

Grand Canyon

Summer may be officially over, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop traveling. In fact, traveling in the Fall can be a perfect time to explore many destination including those right here in good ol U.S.A. Fall travel offers picturesque scenes across America, not so crowed hotels, mild weather, and most importantly, you can snag some awesome deals. Below are three places we recommend you check out.

Arizona

Arizona has a lot to see, most notably the Grand Canyon, which every American should see at least once in their lives. The views at Grand Canyon National Park are utterly stunning, and if you like hiking, there is plenty of challenging but rewarding terrain to cover. Not to be overlooked is Horseshoe Bend, which is another gorgeous park that’s probably less crowded than the Grand Canyon. The way the Colorado River weaves through Horseshoe Bend is a site you won’t soon forget. Of course, if you just want to go someplace warm so you can relax, Scottsdale may be the place for you, as there is plenty of entertainment and plenty of pools to sit by soaking up the sun.

Florida

If you want to go someplace warm but need to hear the sound of waves crashing and feel the sand between your toes, you want to go to Florida. The Sunshine State offers plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation, from Jacksonville to Miami to Tampa and all the way to the panhandle. If the beach isn’t enough for you, Miami has great nightlife, while Orlando is home to Disney World, which I hear is a nice place to visit.

Chicago

Finally, if it’s a big city that beckons you, it doesn’t get much better than Chicago. Early Fall is the perfect time to visit the Windy City, as you want to get there before the cold sets in. Once you’re there, you can enjoy the city’s magnificent skyline that sits right next to Lake Michigan. Between the parks, museums, and restaurants, you won’t run out of things to entertain yourself while visiting Chicago.
