How many of you remember the awful hairstyles of the 80’s. Some of the more memorable hairstyles included the mullet, the Farrah Fawcett, metal hair, and the shag. Most of us are happy that the styles of the 80’s have long faded out. Thanks to Philadelphia’s 76ers Nick “Swaggy P” Young, it appears the 80’s shag haircut is making it’s return.
Nick aka Swaggy recently posted a photo of his new haircut and he definitely went way back to the 80’s for a little inspiration. Borrowing inspiration from R&B singer Ralph Tresvant’s, Nick’s haircut looks a lot like the one Ralph sported in New Edition’s 1984 video for Cool It Now where Ralph was the lead singer. Considering Swaggy was only 1 years old when the video debut, it’s great to see him staying true to being an 80’s baby. A bit of nostalgia for those who remember the 80’s.
