United Arrows New Balance 25th Anniversary Collection Silver

In recognition of New Balance’s 25th anniversary, Japan’s United Arrow collaborated and remixed both the 1400 and 996 silhouettes. Reminiscent of the Nike Air Max 1 “Liquid Gold” and “Liquid Silver” sneakers released earlier this year, the United Arrows x New Balance sneakers are worth a second look. The well-balanced designs offer the familiar classic look with a modern edge.

Beige leather of natural tones were used to recreate a modern spin on the 1400 while metallic silver was used for the 996 to provoke the feeling of mix futuristic. Changes were made to the leather mesh part of the upper, and the gold color scheme on the edge of the N mark of the 1400, but both the 1400 and 996 remain true to the classic New Balance sneakers we all love.
