Yesterday we posted an outrageously overpriced $17,500 Leica M9 camera and today (thanks to the good folks over at UnCrate) we have found some equally overpriced headphones. The Ultrasone Edition 10 Headphones are hand-made in Germany and offer open natural sound design without any limitations. According to Ultrasone’s website, the headphones materials are of the highest quality with the perfect combination in technology and luxury. Some of the features include open-back ear cups with galvanic Ruthenium plating, Zebrano wood inlay, Ethiopian sheepskin leather ear cup pads, Titanium-plated 40mm drivers, silver-plated OFC 99.99% pure copper wires with Kevlar casing, and S-Logic Pus technology. Ultrasone describes these headphones simple by stating they “stand for extravagance in comfort, sound, surface feel and appearance.” Retail $2,750
