There is nothing like an excited and fanatical fan. That said, what do you make of an overly enthusiastic and eager athlete? As a case in point, LeBron James bear hugs and tackles a fan to the ground after he hits a $75,000 half-court shot. Talk about an awkward moment.
Michael Drysch, a 50-year-old computer technician, was flown from Illinois after he was selected from a drawing by the LeBron James Family Foundation. After hitting the shot and being tackled to the ground by LeBron he said, “It’s a great way to meet somebody like that. I had no idea he was coming over to me like that. That was amazing. What a great feeling to experience something like this.”
