Because someone can, someone will, and someone is crazy enough to buy a t-shirt with a price tag equivalent to a college education, Hermès is selling a $91,500 t-shirt made of crocodile skin. Can you say Kanye West? Kayne seems like he would be crazy enough to spend $91,500 on a t-shirt, right?

Let’s think about it for a minute. You can buy a house for under 90,000 in Cleveland, OH or a brand new 2013 Porsche 911 for the cost of crocodile skin shirt. In fact, you can buy two cars if you opted for mid-range luxury vehicles and a midsized family car. Which would you rather have?

Aside from worrying about PETA knocking on your door, don’t forget about the sales tax on the shirt. If purchased in New York City you would be adding on a whopping $8,100 to your receipt. The world of high-priced fashion just got more ridiculous.

The shirt, which is made completely out of crocodile, is part of Hermès’ Spring 2013 collection of chiffon crocodile shirts. Each shirt in the collection will retail between $60,000 and $100,000. Hermès Madison Avenue flagship store in New York is the only place you can get these shirts.
