Inside Look At Heineken’s Second Installment Of The #Heineken100 Program

When you write about the trendy man’s lifestyle, going to cool events is par for the course. And living in Los Angeles makes it that much easier for us to RSVP yes to elite social gatherings you won’t find anywhere else. At the intersection of what we do and where we live, we’ve gone to some impressive parties – including the recent throw-down hosted by Heineken with Union Los Angeles.

We were able to snag an invite to one of Heineken’s very exclusive launch parties as part of the 2015 #Heineken100 program. We made the list thanks to Team Epiphany, one of the hottest consumer marketing agencies in the game when it comes to branding and creating on-brand, culturally relevant events. We were honored to make the cut among celebrity attendees, including actor Jesse Williams, Josh Madden, the very eclectic Taz Arnold, fashion and sneaker designer Jon Buscemi, and Influencer/Team Epiphany founder Coltrane Curtis, among others. A fun and fashionable time was had by all. We cracked open our refreshing Heinekens, ordered from the food truck, and savored an array of appetizers in excellent company.

The #Heineken100 program acknowledges influential consumers of the iconic green bottle beverage and celebrates the brand with custom products. The legendary retail hotspot Union Los Angeles joined forces with the beer brewer as the Second in a series of collaborations with five stores around the nation. Chris Gibbs, Founder of Union Los Angeles, unveiled an unstructured, reverse-weave sports blazer at the VIP event. “My garment incorporates this year’s unifying jersey knit fabric by marrying the casual sensibilities of traditional American sportswear fleece with a more sophisticated blazer feel that is perfectly suited to the metropolitan man,” Gibbs explained.

Notable men’s fashion stores including New York City’s KITH, Miami’s Alchemist, Chicago’s RSVP Gallery, and Boston’s Concepts will also participate in the 5th annual #Heineken100 program representing what’s trending in nearly every corner of the country. Each of the stores will reveal a unique custom product at a VIP launch event. To commemorate the five city tour, Heineken also teamed up with HighSnobiety to create the #Heineken100 City Guide which will highlight the favorite locales of its five culturally connected partners.
