We love the look of these sneakers, especially for those of you who prefer a more refined look that doesn’t scream NBA or “just do it.” You can still just do it, but do it with style in these “panelled” sneakers from Filling Pieces, an Amsterdam footwear label started by Guillaume Philibert, a former architecture student who realized the need for premium sneakers at a reasonable cost. We think his vision for high-end fashion is unique, yet realistic. At about $216, the sporty look remains, but the subtle pigeon grey leather accented by soft melon and off-white is a welcomed change to the play ball in the street, in-your-face look of many athletic shoes. These shoes are truly filling our hearts with satisfaction of really good design.
