Most ladies are hesitant when it comes to the browns (liquor that is), but we had a ball trying out Crown Royal Regal Apple at a tasting event we won’t soon forget! Not only were the drinks sweet, but we got to say a bitter farewell to NBA Legend, Kobe Bryant, in one of his last games at the Staples Center. Farewell Sweet Kobe! Sigh….

Our favorite drink at the tasting was the CROWBERRY APPLE – Cranberry Juice and Crown Royal Regal Apple! The Cranberry set off the Sweet Apple and made for a delicious twist.

Master of Whisky Stephen Wilson was at the game to guide us through three whisky variants. He taught us the process for experiencing, RETRONASAL OLFACTION (the perception of flavor) for optimal taste bud appreciation. Thanks to Stephen, we were able to optimize the sweet aroma of caramel and tastes the lingering hints of apple sweetness. We definitely learned something new.
Since the tasting event, we’ve also enjoyed our own mini Crown Royal Quickie with Apple and Ginger Ale, it mixed nicely for a sweet honey-like flavor! So good! Here’s some recipes we recommend you try:
