Justin Halpern, the author of the Twitter feed Shit My Dad Says and the best-selling book of the same name is back with a new book titled “I Suck At Girls.” At twenty-eight-years-old, Justin Halpern found himself living at home with his seventy-three-year-old dad. After recording all the ridiculous things his dad said to him, he was inspired to write his #1 bestseller Sh*t My Dad Says. Upon the advice of his dad, Justin took a day off to think back over everything he had learned in life about women, relationships, and himself before making the decision to propose to his long-time girlfriend. Of course, the results was another book.
Justin’s new book I Suck at Girls is full of his dad’s patented brand of wisdom and introduces new characters just as funny as his dad including his brother, who provides insights into wedding night rituals (“You stand in one corner of the room, and she stands in the other. You each take off one piece of clothing at a time”), and his first boss, who warns Justin to man up: “That’s what a man does. He takes his shots and then he scrubs the shit out of some dishes.” The result is a pilgrim’s progress through the landscape of sex and love.
