The iconic Nike Air Max is back with a twist and a burst of colors. Nike’s new “Beaches of Rio” pack celebrates the vivid scenes and beautiful beaches of Brasil. The shoe is constructed from Engineered Mesh which enables both tight and loose perforations to create a more flexible, breathable upper that eliminates the need for stitched panels to hold the foot over the footbed. Inspired by the bright clothing of the cariocas, the sand, water, exotic birds, mate carts and all things Brazil, Nike’s recent innovation has given the Air Max aesthetics a fresh new look while drawing attention to the iconic Max Air Bag. The Nike Air Max “Beaches of Rio” pack will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers in April.
