Street Style Seen on Both Men and Women for Autumn/Winter

Street style is subjective and changes from person to person. What you would wear on the street is not necessarily what somebody else would wear let alone a woman. However, a few street style trends that have been spotted all over the UK, on women and men, are expected to blow up this autumn/winter. The great thing about most of these statement pieces is that they can look cool and authentic on him or her.

Animal Print

Animal print has been spotted on both men and women. Anybody who wants to make a style statement can wear it. From giraffe to leopard print or snake, any animal print shirt, especially when oversized can give a cool feel to your look.

Huge Backpacks

The thing about going out for the day is that you can’t grab a little satchel and expect everything to fit. If you have work or going to meet up with the fellas, sometimes you need a huge backpack that can fit everything, including your laptop, books, phone, water bottle, and anything else you might need for the day.

Scarfs

A scarf is always a fashionable accessory. Whether you use it as a statement piece or genuinely wrap it around your neck to protect from chill, you can’t go wrong in the winter months with this style staple. Go as big as you dare. Remember, Lenny Kravitz once wore a scarf that looked literal like a blanket. A scarf never goes out of style, and a personalized one could make the perfect, genuine gift for her this winter.

Trench Coats

Both the classic and other styles of trench coats are popular on the streets in the UK right now. There are even PVC styles popping up in bright colors, such as acid green and fuchsia pink. The classic trench coat has a timelessness that can’t be compared, but a bright pop of color makes it an amazing style for anybody to wear. Yes, even a guy. Go for a classic style if you consider yourself more timeless, or grab a pop of color if you want your winter to be a little more exciting.

Argyle Knits

You no longer just see golfers wearing argyle knits. This year, argyle has been spotted all over the catwalks on both female and male models. Grab an argyle jumper or cardigan and you’ll instantly earn some style points – just stay away from the trousers. You don’t have to play golf to wear one.

Colorful Trainers

Colorful trainers are another wonderful idea to funk up your street style. Colorful trainers are everywhere right now. Whether you’re looking for rainbow brights or pastel colors, you can make a statement with a colorful sneaker easily.

Beanie Hats

Skullies are nothing new, but you would be crazy to go through autumn/winter without one. Beanie hats look great on anybody and go perfectly with almost any outfit. They’ll keep you warm and add some interest to your outfits. What more could you want from an accessory?

Utility Boots

A good work boot is a winter staple for any guy’s wardrobe. Boots make the perfect footwear for the colder seasons. They are great rain, shine, or snow, and can toughen up your fit. Wear them with jeans or even jogging bottoms.
